(A Note on the Book Al-Rawda) by the esteemed scholar Muhammad Rasul Karamati, may God have mercy on him Karamati explains that the manuscript is an old copy of the Shafi’i fiqh work by Imam al-Nawawi, copied in Tabriz in 720 AH by ‘Abd al-‘Aziz ibn Abi Bakr al-Hafiz al-Tabrizi. He specifically notes that the manuscript later came into the possession of Mawlana Sheikh Haji ibn Shams al-Din Abi al-Qasim al-Awadi (Awazi). He acquired it through a lawful purchase around the year 1140 AH (1727–1728 CE). He then designated the manuscript, along with the rest of his library, as a waqf for his descendants, while permitting its general scholarly use in Evaz/Awadh, where he resided permanently. Consequently, this page confirms the existence of an Awadi custodian of the manuscript in the 18th century and the existence of a family waqf based in Evaz/Awadh.

كلمة حول كتاب الروضة) للأستاذ الفاضل محمد رسول كرامتي رحمه الله) يوضح كرامتي أن المخطوطة هي نسخة قديمة من كتاب الإمام النووي الفقهي الشافعي، نُسخت في تبريز عام 720 هـ على يد: عبد العزيز بن أبي بكر الحافظ التبريزي. ويشير بشكل خاص إلى أن المخطوطة أصبحت لاحقاً في حوزة: مولانا الشيخ حاجي بن شمس الدين أبي القاسم العوضي (أوزي) وأنه حصل عليها عن طريق الشراء المشروع حوالي عام 1140 هـ (1727-1728م). ثم جعل المخطوطة، مع بقية مكتبته، وقفًا لأحفاده، مع السماح باستخدامها العلمي العام في عوض، حيث كان يقيم بشكل دائم. وبالتالي، فإن هذه الصفحة تثبت وجود أمين عوضي للمخطوطة في القرن الثامن عشر ووجود وقف عائلي مقره في عوض.
